Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I need to cancel a lesson?
-We need 24 hour notice for cancellations so that we can use your time to reschedule other students. All “no show” lessons must be paid for.
What do I need to bring to my lessons?
-Students are expected to bring the necessary music and/or equipment to every lesson. (Voice students must bring their books as well)
What happens if I am late to my appointment?
-Students are expected to arrive on time. If the student is late for their appointment, that lesson time will not be extended.
As a parent, can I sit in on my students lesson?
We have found that students work better when parents are not in the room, so you are welcome to wait in the living room during lessons.
What are the prices of the different lessons offered?
-You can call or contact us for latest pricing info
What forms of payment do you accept?
- We accept cash, check, or Venmo.
When do I pay for my lessons?
-Payment is expected on the day of the lesson by either cash or check payable to Atlantic Music Academy or the teacher’s name. If you pay by the month, you must pay in advance of the lessons.
What happens if my check is bounced?
-Bounced checks must be replaced with an additional charge of $25.
Do I have to pay for new music?
-While we have a vast library of music in many different genres that we offer to our students, music purchased on your behalf should be paid for at the next lesson.
